Description of the video:
Well we have several options in the
School of Education, basically there are four.
One is it masters in Elementary
Education, a masters in Secondary Education,
a masters in Special
Education, and a Masters of Science and ED leadership.
In addition to that, we
understand that we need to provide our
students not only theory, but the
opportunity to practice what they are doing.
So we do that, we make sure that
the application states, because knowledge
is no good if you can't apply it, and so
we make sure that our students are
prepared because they're representing Indiana University, and as I tell my students
they're representing me, and I'm
therefore going to push them to
become the best that they can be,
because we are impacting the lives of children.
We have that sensitivity here
at this university.
The Graduate Program is divided into the following categories:
Advanced Programs
Graduate Licensure Programs
A student with a bachelor's degree is considered to be a graduate student. Graduate students who are working toward a master's degree must maintain at least a 3.0 (B) cumulative grade point average. Students who are working toward an initial teaching license must maintain at least a 2.5 cumulative grade point average.
