Permit purchase dates
Student Permit will be available for purchase at http://parking.iu.edu on the following dates:
Summer 2018 starting May 1st
Fall 2018 starting August 1st
Spring 2019 starting December 1st
Employee Parking Permits will be available for purchase at http://parking.iu.edu on the dates below:
Annual - June 1
Employee Fall only - August 1
Employee Spring only - December 1
Employee Summer only - May 1
Register your Vehicle
The parking system will require vehicle plate information at the time you purchase your permit. You can register and purchase a permit at http://parking.iu.edu
Statement of Purpose
The regulations enforced by Parking Services serve to expedite the efficient flow of traffic on the IU Northwest campus and provide parking facilities for faculty, staff, students, and visitors. Money derived from the fee parking system is used to operate, maintain, improve, and expand parking facilities at the IU Northwest location.

ADA Accessibility
The Office of Parking Services is dedicated to providing excellent customer service to all students of IU Northwest. Those individuals who are wheel chair users will be offered equal access to our services in Parking Services. These individuals should ask Parking Services located in Moraine 113 for assistance at which time an associate will make the necessary arrangements to accommodate them.
1st Week of Fall, Spring, Summer I and II Classes
During the 1st week of classes an exception is made so students, adjunct faculty and visitors can park in the areas signed IUN Permit Parking without an IUN Parking Permit. This time frame allows individuals to obtain the appropriate permit from Parking Services. This exception does not include, Faculty/Staff, Disability or Reserved.
Refund- Student permits
- September 30, is the final refund date for fall semester.
- January 31, is the final refund date for spring semester.
- May 31, is the final refund date for summer semester.
