Minor in business
If you're a non-business student, the School of Business and Economics offers the following minors.
The prerequisite and academic policies of the School of Business and Economics will be enforced. A student must have a C (2.0) cumulative grade point average in the courses required in any minor. Non-business students must notify the recorder for the division in which their records are located, as well as the assistant to the director in the School of Business and Economics, that they are pursuing one of these business minors. Correspondence courses will not be accepted for credit toward any minor. Successful completion of a minor will be indicated on the student's official academic transcript. No more than half of the required courses for either minor may be transfer credit from another institution.

Minor in Accounting
The accounting minor introduces you to field of accounting.
Accounting works with any major to provide you with knowledge in financial reporting and opens job opportunities which a variety of non-profit organizations, government entities or businesses.
Computer science majors, who minor in accounting, might land a job as an entry level programmer in a financial organization or corporation.
An accounting minor also offers the basic skills needed to work as a bookkeeper, or succeed in an entry-level position in an organization's accounting department.
Minor in Business Administration
The general business minor is designed for non-business majors and offers you the most breadth and providing the flexibility in your career interests.
You gain an understanding of key business concepts, enhancing your future in either business or non-business organizations. Regardless of the major, your work will likely directly or indirectly require knowledge of business concepts. A business minor coupled with a major in sciences, arts, or general studies give you marketable business skills.
