A Bachelor's of Sociology Degree at IU Northwest really affords students a wide array of research
and critical thinking skills that are valued
in today's marketplace.
I think a student should choose to pursue
a Bachelor of Sociology at IU Northwest because
the classes are very diverse, and I think that
you have the opportunity to go basically anywhere
with a Sociology Degree.
Unique to the Sociology program here at IU
Northwest is the very close contact that students
have with faculty members.
We have four full professors, and one assistant
professor in our department.
All of whom are very interested in and active
in research and collaborate frequently with
students on their research projects.
I'm a transfer student, so I definitely know
what other programs are like, and I think
the faculty here are what distinguishes it,
they genuinely do care about you, and care
about whether you're going to graduate or
not, and what you plan on doing with your degree.
