Geology Club
The Department of Geosciences sponsors the Geology Club which participates in field trips, activities related to geology and environmental science, and outreach for environmentally focused projects. The Club Room at Marram Hall 238 is home away from home for many IUN geology students past and present.
Missions Statement: To explore the outdoors through the eyes of a geologist. To enhance students' knowledge of the earth and its processes through hiking and camping trips around the Region of Indiana and surrounding states, enjoying the outdoors with others that are interested in Geology.
Sigma Gamma Epsilon Honors Society
The Department of Geosciences sponsors has a chapter of the National Honor Society for Earth Sciences, Sigma Gamma Epsilon (SGE).
Other Club Opportunities
Other related clubs within the sciences in which students can participate include the Biology Club and the Pre-professional Studies Club sponsored by the Biology Department; and the Chemistry Club sponsored by the Department of Chemistry, Biochemistry, Physics and Astronomy.
