Prepare to Serve & Protect
This initiative provides potential police candidates with the strategies and skills needed to advance through the hiring process of local law enforcement agencies.
During the training workshops, IUN faculty and community partners provide instruction regarding test-taking strategies for the written exam; interview preparation tips, followed by mock group interviews; and physical fitness skills and suggestions for improving performance.
The initiative is a collaborative effort by CURE, the Griffith Police Department, and Crossroads YMCA, with additional assistance provided by various Northwest Indiana police departments.
