RedHawk Scholars Program
The RedHawk Scholars Program provides students with opportunities to enhance their experience at IU Northwest through coursework, success coaching, workshops, and peer coaching. Students in this program spend two semesters learning about the resources and support at IU Northwest and how to make the most of their education.
Workshop topics, including stress and time management, career services, and financial literacy will be offered through the semester and are open to all IU Northwest students.
Requirements
Students admitted to the RedHawk Scholars Program will have to complete the following curriculum with a “C” or better in each course.
- EDUC-U100
- Required writing course, either W130, W131 or a math class
Summer Bridge
Students who begin the program in the fall are required to complete the Summer Bridge opportunity.
Success Coaching
Students are required to meet with a Success Coach/Peer Success Coach a minimum of 3 times during the semester
