Welcome to the Health Information Management Programs webpage. I am Dorinda Sattler, MJ, RHIA, CHPS, CPHRM, Interim Director of the Health Information Management programs at IU Northwest. Our AS program has been a very long-standing and highly regarded program for over 40 years. Our department expanded several years ago to include a BS in Health Information Administration program. You will find detailed information on our Associate and Baccalaureate degrees in HIM as you browse through our website. Our curriculum is constantly being reviewed and updated to ensure currency with accreditation requirements, as well as market demands. We work closely with our major employers in Northwest Indiana to ensure our students are receiving the quality education that allows for an easy transfer of skills to the employment market.
