No. The Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) is not required unless you are offered admission.

- You must be an admitted student to Indiana University Northwest.
- The application may be found on the home page under the Degree Options tab. The application will open January 15th each year. The application deadline is April 1st of every year. NOTE: Your application is valid only for the year in which you apply.
- You will be notified of admission status by the first week of June via email at the address you entered on the application.
No additional fee is required to apply to the School of Nursing; however, once admitted, there are additional costs not included in the normal tuition and fees (for example, stethoscope purchase, standardized test fees, required vaccinations, etc.).
Nursing courses are taken for three years, beginning in the sophomore year. How long it takes to complete the degree program will depend on how much time you spend completing general education courses.
