Verification is a review process, directed by the Department of Education, in which the Financial Aid Office is required to determine the accuracy of the information provided by you on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Verification must be completed before aid eligibility can be finalized. Financial aid will not be disbursed to your student account until verification is complete, so it is important that you submit requested documentation as soon as possible.
We know that financial circumstances can change quickly, even when you’re not expecting it.
If your financial situation changes, during or after you have applied for financial aid, please contact our office and we will help you determine what to do next.
