Carrie Varlan Memorial Scholarship
Recipients must be a dental hygiene student at IU Northwest and have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. To be eligible, students must demonstrate both interest and promise in clinical experience as determined by the dental hygiene faculty. The Scholarship is renewable for a second year provided the recipient(s) meets all criteria set forth in this agreement.
Christine Newhard Scholarship
Awarded to a full-time undergraduate student who is currently enrolled in the dental hygiene program.
Northwest Indiana Dental Society Scholarship
Supports student undergraduate scholarships. The recipient(s) must be enrolled in either the dental assisting or the dental hygiene program at IU Northwest, with a record of academic excellence as demonstrated by a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Preference will be given to recipient(s) with demonstrated financial need.
Penny MacLennan Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to a full-time student majoring in dental hygiene. Must have attained second year standing and have a minimum GPA of 3.0. Must have financial need and hold no other scholarships. Consideration is given to qualities of citizenship, academic accomplishment and desire to help others.
