We are the IU Northwest Chancellor’s Staff Advisory Committee. Our Mission is to provide input about matters impacting staff at IU Northwest, including ways to improve morale and a sense of belonging.
By building our staff community, we hope to engage all staff in advancing the strategic Mission, Vision, Values & Goals of IUN.
Membership on the Staff Advisory Committee is voluntary, but all appointees are finalized by the IUN Chancellor (or Interim Chancellor). The SAC has three leadership positions: Facilitator, Vice Facilitator, and Recorder. These are volunteer roles that serve for rotating terms of one to several years. Work Groups within SAC include the Communications Group, Social Activities Group, and Staff Appreciation Group. Each group has a leader and co-leader(s). Members of SAC meet monthly to work toward goals supporting the campus mission and values.
