Hip, hip, hooray! IU Day is on the way!

IU Day is our opportunity to share our IU Northwest love and joy with the world. It's an event that honors the people who make IU possible from our students, alumni, faculty, families and friends of students and everyone in between.

Here's how you can help us celebrate:

How donating to the General Scholarship Fund impacts students lives

Wednesday, April 23: Join for the IU Day fun!

Join us for several IU Day activities from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 23, 2025.

All events will take place in the Moraine Student Center except for the car smash, which will be right outside in the quad. Here's the fun we have planned for IU Day:

  • Car smash (quad)
  • Pizza, IU cookie and beverage station*
  • IU Day donation table
  • IU Day t-shirt distribution*
  • Thank You card station
  • Arbor Day campus planting**

*Students making a minimum $5 donation and faculty and staff making a $10 minimum donation will receive a ticket to obtain their IU Day t-shirt and food. Donations will be accepted at the event or can be made online. (Donors can provide confirmation of their donation to receive their ticket.)

**Arbor Day campus planting begins at 9:30 a.m. on the northwest corner of campus along Jefferson Street. Please bring garden gloves and a hand towel if you have one.
