Archived NSSE Results
Conceived in 1998 as a new approach to gathering information about collegiate quality and piloted in 1999 with funding from The Pew Charitable Trusts, the National Survey for Student Engagement (NSSE) has surveyed about 5 million students since 2000. Indiana University Northwest has participated a number of times between 2004 and 2012, and the results are posted here. NSSE went through a major change in 2013 with the survey instrument and the reporting receiving substantial changes. The Center for Postsecondary Research (CPR) that administers NSSE has always preached caution when comparing results over time, but particular care should be given bridging these older results with results after the changes in 2013.
