IU Northwest Alumni Scholarship

Applicants must have consistently enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours per semester at IU Northwest, achieved Sophomore status or higher, have a minimum grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale., and be a resident of Lake, Porter, LaPorte, Jasper, Newton or Starke County. Preference may be given to students with a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. The number, amount, and recipients of the Scholarship will be determined by the Scholarship Committee of IU Northwest.

Known at the IUAA Scholars and supported by fees collected from the sale of IU’s collegiate license plate – the most popular collegiate plate in Indiana, these scholarships are available to sons or daughters of MEMBERS of the IUAA. One scholarship will be designated for a qualifying student (full-time, undergraduate) from each of IU’s eight campuses. The remainder will be awarded to students on an at-large basis. Preference will be given to students who have not received a scholarship in the prior years.
