Making a transition from one school to another is a big step. We are glad you chose IU Northwest to continue your journey. To reward you for your hard work, the Office of Admissions offers transfer scholarships. We offer admission-based awards, based on your academics; competitive awards.
The Office of Admissions are reworking admissions-based scholarships for the 2025-2026 school year. A form will no longer be needed to be filled to be considered. More information to come May 2025.
Award: Full-time - $6,000 two-year award ($3,000 per academic year split by term) Award: Part-time - $3,000 two-year award ($1,500 per academic year split by term) Criteria: Associate degree earned at Ivy Tech Community College, cumulative 3.0 GPA, with bachelor’s degree objective. Deadline: July 1 - Additional transfer scholarship interest form required.
Award: Full-time - $6,000 two-year award ($3,000 per academic year split by term) Award: Part-time - $3,000 two-year award ($1,500 per academic year split by term) Criteria: Twenty-six, college-level hours or more completed at a regionally accredited institution, 3.5 cumulative GPA. Deadline: July 1 - Additional transfer scholarship interest form required.
Award: Full-time - $4,000 award ($2,000 per academic year split by term) Award: Part-time - $2,000 award ($1,000 per academic year split by term) Criteria: Twenty-six hours or more college-level completed at a regionally accredited institution, 3.0 cumulative GPA. Deadline: July 1 - Additional transfer scholarship interest form required.
Award: Full-time - $1,000 two year award ($500 per academic year split by term) Award: Part-time - $500 two year award ($250 per academic year split by term) Criteria: Associate degree earned, cumulative 3.0 GPA, with a bachelor's degree objective. Deadline: December 15th - Additional transfer scholarship interest form required.
Competitive Scholarships
Award: Full-time - Up to $10,000 two-year award (per academic year based on resident rates) Criteria: Associate degree, 3.0 cumulative GPA. For students interested in pursuing a B.S. in biology, chemistry, geology, computer information systems (CIS), actuarial science, or mathematics. Additional application materials required. Award: Varies Criteria: Associate degree earned from another school or IU campus, 2.0 cumulative GPA. Consideration given to students from underrepresented populations with financial need. Deadline: July 1
