These regulations are internal administrative regulations of the university and do not replace state laws or municipal ordinances. In addition to the university parking violations described, any violation of state laws may result in the arrest of the violator and/or notice to appear before state or municipal courts.

Payment of Fines
All violation notices are to be paid or appealed at parking.iu.edu within 14 days from the date of infraction.
Violations that are upheld by the Parking Appeals Committee must be paid within 7 days from the date of the appeal decision notification letter. Parking Appeals Committee decisions are final.
Violation charges not paid within these time frames will be sent student accounts or collections.
