Kathy Arfken

Kathy Arfken joined the faculty at Indiana University Northwest in August 2004. She is a graduate of Knox College in Galesburg, IL (B.A. Theatre, 1993) and Brandeis University (M.F.A. Scenic Design, 2000).  Following her graduate studies, Kathy worked in New York City as an assistant set designer, where she assisted Michael Brown, James Youmans, and Ming Cho Lee, among others.

Kathy is the resident set designer for Theatre Northwest and has also created scenic designs for local productions with West Side Theatre Guild and Chicago Street Theatre in Northwest Indiana and for Chicago storefront theatre productions with Infamous Commonwealth Theatre and Stage Left Theatre.
